MS Fridtjof Nansen, Hurtigruten's latest expedition ship, embodies cutting-edge technology with a revolutionary hybrid battery-powered propulsion system. Combining 125 years of expertise with premium comfort, its Scandinavian-inspired interior features natural materials like granite, oak, birch, and wool, creating stylish cabins and public spaces. All cabins are outside-facing, half with private balconies, while some suites boast private outdoor hot tubs.
At the heart of the ship lies the Nansen Science Center, serving as both an educational hub and Expedition Team headquarters. Three restaurants offer diverse dining experiences rooted in Norwegian and Nordic traditions alongside international influences.
Guests can unwind in the Explorer lounge, gym, or Wellness Center, or enjoy panoramic views from indoor/outdoor observation decks featuring an aft infinity pool and hot tubs.
Enhancing the onboard experience, each expedition is guided by a specialized Expedition Team, ensuring safety, sustainability, and a deeper understanding of the destinations explored. Custom-built expedition gear includes kayaks, Blueye underwater drones, and RIBs for safe landings in remote areas.

Cruise price is based on joining and leaving the group at the hotels in Buenos Aires. To determine your total cost, please include the airfare specified below from your home city. Prices are based on a minimum of 20 members and on rates, taxes, and fees effective July 2024 and are subject to change due to factors beyond our control. This cruise will be escorted with a minimum of 20 travellers.
Airfares from other gateways are available on request. Airfares are subject to change and will be confirmed prior to final payment.
Insurance is NOT INCLUDED but is highly recommended. Premiums are calculated based on the individual’s age, destination (country), trip length, and trip booking window – please contact our staff to receive a quote. - What do you mean by 'Fully Inclusive' pricing?

Almost all Craig Tours and Cruises include all prepaid costs, encompassing airfare and related taxes, hotel accommodations and/or cruise expenses with taxes and service fees, most meals as described for each departure, sightseeing with entrance fees, gratuities for included services (such as guides, drivers, hotel staff, porters), and even airport transfers. For those residing in southern Ontario, we provide transfers between your home and the airport in most areas, while other passengers receive a special credit or an overnight stay at an airport hotel, depending on the circumstances.
Not included in the published prices are personal services and items such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, and beverages with meals or otherwise (according to local customs; for example, beverages like water, tea, and coffee are typically not included in Europe except during breakfast). Shore excursions on ocean cruises are not included unless specified.
While taxes and fees are included in our prices, they always remain subject to change. Consequently, we may need to collect supplements to cover tax and fee increases that cannot be absorbed.
