Coral Expeditions • The Coral Geographer
Join us for an odyssey that reveals the two distinct faces of Australia. We begin amidst the iconic harbours and heritage streets of Sydney and Perth, enjoying the vibrant culture of the continent’s coastal capitals. Yet, the true magic awaits in the wild north. From the teeming wetlands of Kakadu to the red sandstone cliffs of the Kimberley, we step into a prehistoric landscape unchanged for millennia. Aboard our intimate expedition vessel, we navigate a coastline defined by thundering waterfalls, ancient Aboriginal art, and dramatic tides. This journey offers a rare chance to experience nature at its most powerful in a place where land continues to set the pace of daily life.
The Coral Geographer is a state-of-the-art expedition vessel, launched in 2021 and purpose-built to navigate the rugged wilderness of Australia. With a capacity of just 120 guests, it offers an intimate atmosphere. The ship features a shallow draft and specialized Xplorer tenders that allow us to glide into secluded river systems and land on pristine beaches that larger vessels cannot reach. When we are not discovering ancient rock art or thundering waterfalls, we relax in spacious, outside-facing staterooms or gather in the open-seating dining room to savour fresh, locally inspired cuisine. With over 1,000 square metres of open deck space, the Coral Geographer provides the perfect blend of relaxation, luxury and adventure.
Ship Amenities:
Modern design with five decks and elevator access
Lecture lounge for daily briefings and presentations
Spacious gym, library, and multiple bars with ocean views
