## Group Travel: What to Expect

Travelling with a group offers many benefits, including carefully planned itineraries, convenience, value and the opportunity to share experiences with fellow travellers. It also means being flexible and considerate of the group’s needs. Understanding how group travel works will help you make the most of your journey.

### Your Group Leader

Your experienced group leader travels with you to help coordinate the journey, assist with questions or concerns, and act as a link between you, Craig Travel and our local partners. While they are not professional guides, they are there to help make your journey run smoothly. If an issue arises, please speak with your group leader as soon as possible so they can address it.

### Hotels & Meals

Hotel rooms are generally assigned by the hotel based on availability, and while we make requests for preferred bedding and non-smoking rooms, specific room types cannot always be guaranteed. If you have a concern about your room, please speak with your group leader, who will work with the hotel on your behalf.

Most tour meals are enjoyed together and may be buffet-style to provide greater choice and help keep the group moving efficiently. We will communicate special dietary requirements to suppliers, but specific options cannot always be guaranteed.

### Physical Fitness

Our tours are designed for travellers who are independently mobile and able to manage their luggage when required. You should be comfortable walking approximately one kilometre without assistance and maintaining a reasonable group pace. If you have concerns about your mobility, please speak with us before travelling.

### Coach & Flight Seating

On tours, coach seats are generally rotated to ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to enjoy different views. Your group leader or tour director will explain the system for your journey.

Airline seating is largely determined by the airline and may not accommodate requests for specific seats or seating companions. We will make requests where possible, but these cannot be guaranteed.

### Travelling as a Group

Group travel requires some flexibility. While we do our best to accommodate individual needs, there may be times when the needs of the group must take priority. By working together and respecting the group, everyone can enjoy the exceptional value, service and shared experiences that group travel provides.

- **A $70 travel credit** for travellers from areas where transfers are not available or for those departing from other Canadian gateways.
- **An airport hotel stay** when required by flight schedules or airline arrangements.
- In some cases, an **airport hotel may be substituted for the travel credit** if you prefer to make your own way to the airport.

Your Travel Bonus will be noted on your invoice. Please speak with your travel associate if you have questions about your options. The Travel Bonus applies to **air-inclusive holidays only** and does not apply to land- or cruise-only packages.
