A Captivating River Cruise through the Heart of Europe

The magnificence of Europe is best seen and experienced along its extensive river network. This remarkable river cruise begins in Prague and continues through the heart of Europe to Budapest, offering a captivating feast of culture, history, and riches.

Historically, people lived close to the rivers in Europe as they served as the primary routes for commerce and trade. We will wind our way along the beautiful Danube, where music and romance come alive at every turn, passing fabled castles and cathedrals and exploring centuries-old marketplaces.

Excursions and land arrangements include some extensive walks, often over rough surfaces. Cobblestones streets are used in many European cities, making walking more difficult. Access to some decks and to shore in some ports may involve steep steps. To fully enjoy this cruise, members should be in good physical condition and capable of walking a kilometre or more without assistance.

The ms AmaLea, a sister ship to the ms AmaViola, showcases the most advanced design among any river cruise vessels currently in operation. Most staterooms offer exclusive twin balconies, which measure a spacious 210-235 sq. feet with four suites measuring 350 sq. feet.

All staterooms are equipped with an exclusive Infotainment system, including complimentary internet access, a selection of first-run Hollywood movies and music library, as well as flat-screen televisions featuring local and satellite channels. Complimentary bottled water is replenished daily, and individual air-conditioning control is available in each stateroom.

Indulge in gourmet dining experiences with unlimited fine wines at multiple onboard venues. The ms AmaLea provides a variety of dining options for your culinary pleasure. You can savor the culinary creations of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in the main dining room or opt for the Chef's Table restaurant, featuring a dedicated private chef. On certain days, you can enjoy a delightful lunch outdoors on the Sun Deck.

Cancellation penalties for this cruise start at the time of booking, with a non-refundable amount of $300pp ($600pp for suites). Insurance is NOT INCLUDED but is highly recommended. What do you mean by 'Fully Inclusive' pricing?

Almost all Craig Tours and Cruises include all prepaid costs, encompassing airfare and related taxes, hotel accommodations and/or cruise expenses with taxes and service fees, most meals as described for each departure, sightseeing with entrance fees, gratuities for included services (such as guides, drivers, hotel staff, porters), and even airport transfers. For those residing in southern Ontario, we provide transfers between your home and the airport in most areas, while other passengers receive a special credit or an overnight stay at an airport hotel, depending on the circumstances.

Not included in the published prices are personal services and items such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, and beverages with meals or otherwise (according to local customs; for example, beverages like water, tea, and coffee are typically not included in Europe except during breakfast). Shore excursions on ocean cruises are not included unless specified.

While taxes and fees are included in our prices, they always remain subject to change. Consequently, we may need to collect supplements to cover tax and fee increases that cannot be absorbed.
