Departing San Diego, California we sail along the Pacific coast visiting the colourful ports of Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. Then we continue south along the coast of South America to Ecuador and Peru where we can discover the history and relics of the once mighty Inca Empire.

° Set at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula, this resort is known for its beautiful beaches, rock formations and crystal clear waters.

° This is truly the quintessential Mexican seaside resort, - narrow cobble-stone streets, lined with interesting shops, shaded patios where you can sip a cool drink and sample carne asada while a mariachi band plays.

° In the cultured little country of Guatemala modern Maya still weave their stories on backstrap looms, and the great stone temples of Tikal stand in silent testament to ancient Mayan ingenuity.

° This lovely beach town is your portal to Masaya, famous for its steaming volcano and colorful crafts market, and colonial Granada, rich in folkloric culture and views of Lake Nicaragua.

° set at the pacific entrance to the Big Ditch, visitors can enjoy the historic centre or take an optional excursion into the canal itself.

° To the north is colonial Trujillo, founded in 1534. Nearby and far older is the mysterious adobe city of Chan Chan, once home to the Chimu Indians.

° Next door is Lima, Peru’s colonial capital. A short flight away is the charming colonial centre of Cuzco, surrounded by mountains and legendary mist-veiled Machu Picchu, lost for centuries in the heart of the Andes.

° Ecuador’s major port and gateway to the interior - enjoy the busy waterfront or venture to a nearby hacienda to sample country life.

° Close by we find the true home of the Panama hat. Inland is Quito, so preserved that the entire old quarter is a World heritage Site.

° Enjoy Costa Rica’s diverse eco system on an aerial tram ride through lush rainforests or on a cruise through the mangrove swamps.

° Mexico’s hottest new resort, Huatulco, has nine beautiful bays, chic boutiques and some of the best beaches on the Pacific coast.

° Mexico’s most famous resort - be sure to see the daring cliff divers of La Quebrada and discover the chic boutiques of La Costera.

° This one visit gives you both worlds: the tranquil old world charm of the fishing village of Zihuatanejo and the glitzy bustle of the beach resort of Ixtapa.

° set on an expansive sandy beach, this important port is perhaps best known for the resort Las Hadas, the setting for the movie “10”, starting Bo Derek.

Above prices are per person based on sharing the stateroom category chosen and include all the applicable Inclusive Features (excludes air and pre-cruise overnight in San Diego). Cruise only price is based on joining and leaving at the pier in San Diego (joining Feb 2/ leaving Mar 4). Please note Category CA (Lanai) stateroom has 2 lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathtub & shower. Sliding glass doors lead onto the walk-around Lower Promenade Deck. Single passengers can book to share on the cruise in categories ‘K’ (inside) or ‘E’ (outside) at special twin rates or pay a single supplement of 50% of the cruise only in any stateroom category, excluding deluxe staterooms. Many staterooms can accommodate 3 or 4 people. Bedding in all staterooms can be either twin beds or large queen bed.

Airfares include the current cost for flights, all related taxes and fees, the pre-cruise overnight in San Diego, insurance coverage, airport transfers in San Diego plus airport transfers in Canada or equivalent value. Airfares are subject to change and will be confirmed prior to final payment.

Shore excursions are not included in your cruise cost, allowing you the freedom to choose from the optional tours that will be offered in each port. Excursions will be available for purchase through the cruise line. Full details on cost, etc, will be available online. Our escort will accompany this cruise with a minimum of twenty members travelling.

CT RATING ONE – this cruise is suitable to all passengers who meet our basic criteria for group travel. Members should be aware that optional excursions will often involve travel in remote regions under difficult conditions.

Trip price and deposit include a non-refundable fee ($461- $ 589 per person, depending on overall trip cost) to cover comprehensive insurance. Our insurance is effective for all passengers under the age of 86 years at the time of travel and carries limitations on pre-existing medical conditions. Please discuss your insurance coverage prior to booking. Final payment will be due November 2, 2010.
