It is with great pleasure that Ros and I extend a warm invitation for you to join us on our annual President’s Cruise. For 2010, we have selected an exciting itinerary exploring the Eastern Mediterranean, visiting a host of fascinating ports while enjoying Holland America’s Elegant Explorer, the ms Prinsendam. A definite highlight of the cruise will be our special two-day land excursion exploring the most important sites of the Holy Land. In addition, we will enjoy hotel nights in both Rome and Athens.

Following our Ancient Mysteries cruise which ends in Athens, there will be an opportunity to stay onboard and join popular hosts, Ross and Lucy McLean as they sail from Athens to exciting ports in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, before relaxing for seven glorious days while crossing the Atlantic Ocean to Ft. Lauderdale.

Above prices are per person based on sharing the accommodation in the category chosen and include all applicable Inclusive Features. Prices are cruise only based on joining at the hotel in Rome or the pier in Athens and leaving at the hotel in Athens or the pier in Ft. Lauderdale depending on the cruise itinerary chosen. Airfares from other cities are available on request. Airfares include the current cost for flights, all related taxes and fees, insurance coverage, airport transfers on arrival & departure, airport transfers in Canada or equivalent value. **Members joining from these cities may receive an overnight hotel stay en route to the ship in lieu of home city transfers. Airfares are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time you confirm your cruise reservation.

Many cabins can accommodate 3 or 4 people. Inside cabins have twin beds. In outside cabins, bedding can be configured as twin beds or one large bed. Inside cabins feature bathrooms with shower. Outside cabins have a bathtub or shower combination. (See deck plan for cabin locations). Single passengers can book to “guarantee share” accommodations in category “K” (Inside) or ”E" (outside) at special twin rates or pay a special single supplement rate - please call for availability and for rates.

Shore excursions (except the 2-day program in Israel & sightseeing in Athens – President’s Cruise only) are not included in your cruise cost, allowing you the freedom to choose from several optional tours that will be offered in each port. Information on excursions will be available at the Holland America Line website. They may be ordered online or during the cruise. Our escort (s) will accompany each cruise with a minimum of twenty paying members per cruise segment.

CT RATING: TWO – This cruise is suitable for all passengers who meet our basic criteria for group travel. Optional shore excursions may involve considerable walks over rough surfaces – those with mobility issues must select their excursions carefully.

Cruise cost and deposit includes the cost of comprehensive insurance ($285 - 805 pp) for passengers under 86 years of age at time of travel. Cancellations of any booking prior to June 21, 2010 will be subject to an Administration Fee of $50pp – this fee will not be covered by our insurance. Insurance coverage will begin on the above date and will cover penalties from that date forward. Contact our office for full details. Final payment will be due July 22, 2010.
